The RCMP is advising motorists that part of Highway 1 will be closed this morning.

The eastbound side of the highway will be closed at the Palmer Brook Road exit until approximately 11 a.m. while crews continue clean up of yesterday’s truck fire.

Traffic will be diverted via Route 100.
