All lanes of Highway 17 between Highway 17A and the Kenora Bypass have been closed due to poor weather conditions.

The closure began Friday morning around 1:25 a.m., as reported by Ontario 511.

The OPP advises drivers to avoid the area and plan alternate routes.

No estimated time for reopening has been provided.
