Highway 17 has been closed in Vermilion Bay.

The Ministry of Transportation says a collision has shut down both lanes of traffic near Myer’s Road and the Kinsman Beach.

There has been no indication how long the Trans-Canada will be closed, and the cause of the crash.

Roads in the area are listed as partially snow-covered.
