Highway 17 west of Kenora near Pye’s Landing is closed to both lanes of traffic.

The closure took place just after 5:00 Friday evening.

The Ministry of Transportation says a collision took place near Pye’s Road.

It’s unknown if there are any injuries or how long the Trans-Canada will be closed for.
