The Kam River Fighting Walleye have a brief home stand at the Norwest Arena this weekend.

Head Coach Matt Valley and his squad (2-2-1-0) play a pair of games against the Wisconsin Lumberjacks (3-4-1-0) Friday and Saturday.

“I think they are just catching their stride,” said Valley. “I think the Lumberjacks are going to want to come in here and give us a run for our money. Everyone seems to elevate their game against us, which is good for us.”

The Walleye will debut defenceman Josh Robinson, who was signed earlier in the week.

The team will also dress a trio of call-ups (forwards Owen Voortman and Luca Riccardi, defenceman Brodie McLeod) because of injuries.

Game time both nights will be 7:30.
