From “TODAY IN THE BAY” this morning:

STATS CANADA  released some numbers about just how much we love our booze across Canada.

They did say, overall sales dropped – compared to a year ago.  Canadians spent $13.5 billion on alcohol last year.

Wine made up 30% of the sales.  Beer sales hit 35%.  The biggest increase compared to the year prior:  spirits, ciders and coolers.

DRINK RESPONSIBLY.  Cheers to the weekend!  ($$$$$$$$$)
