An increased presence of RCMP was on hand at Moncton High School on Monday.

This is after the circulation of concerning social media posts.

Anglophone East School District sent a letter to parents over the weekend.

Superintendent Randy MacLEAN stated the RCMP has confirmed the individuals in question have been arrested, and there is no further risk to the safety of staff or students.

Students returned to class today….but with support for those who needed it.

No further details have been provided by RCMP.
