The wait is finally over for commercial lobster fishers in southwest Nova Scotia.

After five days of weather delays, dumping day for Lobster Fishing Area 34 is a go for December 2nd.

According to the Coldwater Lobster Association, Saturday’s marine weather forecast looks favourable.

This morning LFA 34 Port Representatives voted unanimously “Yes” in favour of setting their traps Saturday morning.

Dumping day typically is on the last Monday in November.
