A couple of new buildings supported by the Kenora District Services Board are getting ready to open their doors to the public.
The first will be in Kenora next week, as the 56-unit senior’s complex will open.
The ribbon cutting will take place next Wednesday at 11 am.
The second opening will take place a week later in Sioux Lookout.
The KDSB will open a new supportive housing program.
It’s dedicated to housing indigenous women and their children fleeing violence, providing them with housing and onsite support.
The 10-unit Roots and Wings Transitional Housing project will officially open on May 21st.
