The Thunder Bay Kings will be Sudbury bound.

The Big Nickel hockey tournament returns after the COVID-19 pandemic scrapped the 2020 event.

The under-13 Kings won the trophy back in 2019 and will be joined by eight other clubs from across Ontario.

The squad will open up play Friday against the North Bay Trappers.
