A home in Lower Sackville has significant damage after a fire, Tuesday evening.

Halifax Professional Fire Fighters say it was on Smokey Drive just before midnight.

Members arrived to what the union describes as “heavy fire conditions” on the outside of the house that went up into the attic and was getting close to the house next door.

Fire fighters quickly went to work and prevented further spread.
