A woman claims she was drugged, kidnapped and sexually assaulted in Shelburne County.
In a release, RCMP say it involved a firearm, and the woman was unknowingly given a noxious substance, then held against her will and sexually assaulted at a residence.
A 51-year-old Ingomar man was arrested last week, he is known to the victim.
He’s facing a long list of charges including sexual assault, kidnapping, voyeurism, firearms, drug trafficking and more.
The man remains in custody pending future court dates.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
