A Listuguj, Quebec man is charged after an assault with a weapon in St. Stephen.

On Tuesday afternoon on Miltown Avenue, a 40-year-old man suffered what are believed to be minor injuries.

He was treated at the hospital and then released.

RCMP located and arrested a 25-year-old man.

He is charged with assault with a weapon and breach of condition.

He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Saint John Provincial Court on May 2.
