Saint John police say a man convicted of assault and forcible confinement is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

Jeremy Robichaud is accused of breaching the conditions of his statutory release, according to police.

The 33-year-old man was living at a community correctional centre in the city.

“Police are warning the public to not approach the suspect,” police said in a news release on Tuesday.

Robichaud is serving a sentence of three years and five months for aggravated assault, assault use of force, forcible confinement, break and enter, and an offence under the Motor Vehicle Act.

He is described as 5’10” tall, weighing 160 pounds, with a medium complexion, brown hair, and blue eyes.
