Police are investigating a shooting in the north end of Halifax that left a man injured.

Officers responded to an incident overnight near Lady Hammond Road and Robie Street.

According to reports, a man was shot and taken to the hospital, but details have not yet been provided about his condition.

Investigators remained on the scene this morning.
