One person continues fighting for his life almost two months after a crash on the Gunningsville Bridge.

On the evening of August 6, two men riding e-bikes collided head-on while travelling on the path.

RCMP Inspector Jonathan White says both riders suffered life-threatening injuries, with head trauma and multiple fractures.

He adds that one remains intubated in the hospital.

The incident remains under investigation.
