It was a winning weekend for the Yarmouth Mariners.

They swept the Valley Wildcats in 2 straight games, scoring 9 goals in each.

Tyler Lee had 5 points, including his first career hat-trick in Friday’s 9-1 win at Mariners Centre.

He says it felt great.

“I’ve never had a hat-trick before, so it was nice. The boys were certaintly clicking,” said Lee.

Championship rings from last season were also presented to returning players and staff.

The Mariners won 9-4 Saturday in Berwick.

Their next game is Friday night at home against Fredericton.
