A 54-year-old Meteghan man is charged with drug and weapons offences.

A search of a property in the area on Friday turned up cocaine, magic mushrooms, unstamped cigarettes and two firearms.

The man was arrested and released on conditions.

He’s due in court in Yarmouth in March.

RCMP say the investigation started in December and involved several resources.
