A military base is the latest to suffer attacks in Ukraine.

Located near the Polish border, Yavoriv, Russian missiles and shelling hit the base over the weekend.

The base is the location of the International Centre for Peacekeeping and Security, a spot where Canadian peacekeepers were until they moved to Poland last month.

There are conflicting reports from the Ukrainian government that 35 people died in the attack, with Russia disputing that claim that no foreign nationals were injured instead sighting that 180 foreign fighters were killed that were training at the base.

The base was one of the locations where western military aide was being stored.
