An elderly woman from Grand Bay-Westfield is missing.

RCMP say 79-year-old Ruth Carol Sutton was last seen Sunday morning just after 9 walking on Mallard Drive.

Police say she suffers from a medical condition that may cause her to become disoriented.

RCMP add that they’d followed up on several leads, but haven’t been able to locate the woman.

Ground Search and Rescue teams along with Police Dog services are currently searching.

She’s described as 5’2″, 130 pounds with white hair and blue eyes, she was last seen wearing a light blue jacket.
