You can now find out where you vote on election day.
That information is available on the Elections Ontario website.
Spokesperson Eleni Armenakis says, “Look at their address and they’ll be able to see their advanced voting location and their location for election day. Voter information cards, which also has that information will be on their way as of May 13.”
Armenakis notes some public health measures will come into play.
“So when voters go to the polls. They are going to see a lot what they are already familiar with. Physical distancing, hand sanitizer, we’ll be disinfecting high-touch surfaces frequently. We’re also going to have masks available for any voters or staff who would like to wear one.”
Unlike the federal election, Elections Ontario has the okay to set up polling stations in schools with the approval from local school boards.
Voting day is June 2.
