Survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking will be receiving some much needed supports .

Almost $18.5 million is being invested into services at five on-reserve Indigenous shelters in a release from the Ontario government.

The Transitional and Housing Support Program will provide access to counselling, social assistance, housing and employment assistance as well as education and legal supports. There will also be wholistic, culturally responsive services for Indigenous women as well.
