About 2,500 customers are in the dark on the coast near Peggy’s Cove due to a power outage.

It happened shortly after 7 a.m. Friday, and the cause is yet to be determined.

It stretches from Upper Tantallon and along the coast to East Dover.

So far, NS Power says the lights could come back in Upper Tantallon around 10:45 a.m., and as you move down the coast, restoration could be around 11:45 a.m.
