Fire departments are currently responding to a fire that broke out in the Bridgetown Baptist Church Friday morning.

Details are limited as the scene is still active, but videos and images shared online show the roof of the church billowing with smoke.

The church is located on Granville Street which is the main route through Bridgetown, so anyone travelling in the area should anticipate delays.
