Several wildfires in northwestern Ontario remain out of control as new ones continue to spark across the region, according to the Ontario Forest Fire Info Map.

One fire between Kenora and the Ontario–Manitoba border is still burning without containment.

Near Thunder Bay, two of three fires are out of control, while the third is being held.

Fires in the Red Lake district are also being closely monitored by crews.

Meanwhile, a cluster of four fires near Lake Nipigon continues to burn out of control, with another nearby fire now listed as contained.
