A murder suspect has been arrested.

An unnamed youth has been taken into custody in Cambridge after an incident with local police.

The suspect is linked to a murder investigation of 31 year old Joseph Bannon from November 2021.

Police were called after shots were fired at a home on Amelia St. Bannon died at the scene.

This marked the fifth murder in Thunder Bay for 2021.
