The next phase of the reconstruction of Burwood Road is underway.

The work restarted on Monday, closing the roadway at Central Avenue.

Local traffic will be able to access the area from Oliver Road.

During the work, the roadway is undergoing a full reconstruction, including the installation of a new sewer to improve drainage.

The city is asking drivers to obey all posted signage and detour routes.

No estimation was given on when the work is expected to be completed.
