Lobster fishers will have to wait until Sunday morning to find out when Dumping Day might be.

Pre-season weather calls were held with port reps and DFO Saturday morning for LFA’s 33 and 34, to look at a potential opening for Monday.

No decision was made, and more weather calls are happening Sunday at 6 a.m. for LFA 33, and 7 a.m. for LFA 34.

Winds have to be below 26 knots for safety.

The areas represent Nova Scotia’s most lucrative fishing grounds, stretching offshore from Digby around Yarmouth to Eastern Passage.
