Another storm just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Environment Canada says the system will impact most of southern and eastern Nova Scotia and it will be windy, gusting between 60 and 80 km/h.
The forecaster says it will start Tuesday afternoon in the southwestern part of the province and continue moving east to hit Cape Breton overnight.
Strong winds and fresh snow will likely cause white out conditions in some areas.
Environment Canada says the storm is tracking a little further south than previously thought, so snowfall totals are not supposed to be as high as earlier forecasts.
School Cancellations
Tri-County Regional Centre schools as well as CSAP centers in Clare and Argyle will be closing two hours early Tuesday afternoon.
SSRCE schools will be dismissed 90 minutes early.
Fights
As for flights, the arrivals and departures boards are already starting to fill up at Halifax Stanfield with delayed or cancelled flights.
Check your flight status being heading to the airport.
