The City of Thunder Bay is $681,653 richer following the latest payment from O-L-G, for being the host of Gateway Casinos Thunder Bay.

This is the second quarter payment for the year, which to date, the city has received more than one-point-three million dollars.

Revenue received from the casino goes towards programs and services across the city, according to a statement by Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy, included in a release issued by Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.

“These payments help to improve the quality of life and make Ontario a vibrant and exciting place to live, work and play.”

In the 22 years since the casino opened Thunder Bay has received $51,386,874.
