Nasty weather led to cancellations, travel disruptions and power outages across the Maritimes.

A mix of snow, rain and intense winds hit the region yesterday.

While the weather alerts have ended, Environment Canada says there is still a slight risk of coastal flooding near local high tides this morning along the Atlantic coast of Nova Scotia.

According to Nova Scotia Power, several thousand customers were in the dark during the storm, but there are only a few scattered outages remaining.

The Confederation Bridge has reopened after being closed to all traffic yesterday due to high winds.
