A family in Denmark has accidentally become the internet’s favourite Disney movie — all thanks to their two‑year‑old son Otto… and his best friend, a wild crow.

Yep. Not a dog. Not a cat. Not even a goldfish.
Otto’s new sidekick is a full‑on Eurasian crow who just decided, “Tthis is my family now.”
They call him Russell — and Russell shows up every single day. He perches on the kitchen window sill like he owns the place, strolls around the yard, and even pops inside to hang out on the couch with Otto. The two of them look like they’re starring in the cutest nature documentary ever filmed.
The family first found Russell injured on their property, helped him heal up… and now he’s basically their feathery neighbour who never left. He even walks down the dirt road beside Otto while the little guy rides his tricycle — like a tiny bodyguard with wings.
Wildlife services checked in, saw the bond, and were blown away by how gentle and connected this crow is with the family.
And if you want to melt a little today, the whole friendship is on YouTube — just search “Crow named Russell.”
It’s pure, wholesome magic. Russell….Crowe? You can’t make that up.
