The colour is now Red at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC).

Officials say the facility is changing it’s internal COVID-19 pandemic response from Lockdown (Grey) to the Control Level, which will adapt bed capacity and staffing needs as the situation requires.

As of Tuesday, there are 25 patients being treated for COVID-19 with seven of those in the Intensive Care Unit.

The medical/surgical hospital occupancy is at approximately 99.6% and the ICU occupancy is at 90.9%.
