A 24-year-old man is dead following a crash in Saint-Louis de Kent.

It happened on Saturday after the driver of a pickup truck lost control on Cap Saint Louis Road and went into the ditch.

RCMP says the driver from Albion, PEI died at the scene.

A 28-year-old man who was a passenger was taken to hospital with what were believed to be minor injuries.

Members of the Richibucto RCMP detachment, the St-Louis de Kent Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick assisted at the scene.

An autopsy will be done to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
