Unexpected issues with the ice surface have forced the closure of Peter Murray Arena in West Saint John this weekend.
According to the city, the arena will be closed Saturday through Monday.
Crews are working to solve the issue as soon as possible.
All scheduled bookings during the closure will be relocated to other arenas around the city. Affected groups will be contacted by email and phone to confirm new arrangements.
Two program adjustments have also been made.
The Saturday Public Skate has been moved to Charles Gorman Arena on University Avenue and will be held from 7 to 8:45 p.m.
The Monday Tiny Tot Skate has been cancelled.
The city warned the closure may extend beyond three days, and an update will be provided Tuesday.
