If you live in Hammonds Plains you can expect to not have power overnight Friday.

Nova Scotia says they will turn the electricity off starting at 11:59 p.m. until 8 a.m. Saturday.

The utility says, “outages are sometimes necessary to conduct work that ensures our electrical system remains safe and reliable for our customers.”

Turning the electricity off makes sure crews are safe while they are working on emergency repairs, upgrades and maintenance.
