A sizable quantity of cocaine, fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine have been seized by Thunder Bay Police following the search of a Vickers Street home Thursday afternoon.

Officers with both the Emergency Task Unit and the Intelligence Unit raided the home on a search warrant following an investigation into drug trafficking out of the residence.

The estimated street value of the drugs is believed to exceed $110,000.

Police also seized drug trafficking equipment and more than $5,000 in cash.

Five people were arrested inside the home, four are residents of Toronto.

A 30 year old and a 27 year old from Toronto each face the charges of:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Possession of Identity Document

Meanwhile a 29 year old from Toronto faces similar charges:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000
• Possession of Identity Document
• Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Additionally a 37 year old from Thunder Bay and another 29 year old from Toronto have been charged with:

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking
• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

All five accused appeared in bail court Friday and were remanded into custody.
