There is a heavy police presence at the New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) campus in Saint John.
Police said they are on scene investigating a “panic alarm” at the Grandview Avenue campus.
“No threat has been identified. Officers are searching the campus,” police said in a social media post around 11:40 a.m. Friday.
The public is asked to stay away from the area and students are being told to follow campus protocol.
Reports to our newsroom say students and staff at the campus have received an automated lockdown alert.
More to come.
