Police are on scene of a demonstration in Dartmouth and are asking the public to avoid the area.

Police say it’s on the 100 block of Akerley Blvd in Burnside and those on scene are preventing access to the business.

There will be a visible police presence in the area to direct traffic, minimize disruptions and to promote public safety.
