The province will give funding for more child care spaces.
They’re helping non-profit centres with renovations, and new family home providers with start-up costs.
In a release, Education Minister Becky Druhan says they’re trying to be innovative and make child care more accessible, as spaces are in high demand.
The ‘Minor Infrastructure Program’ will give the non-profits up to $250,000 dollars for work to increase spaces, and $25,000 for admin expenses.
The ‘Family Home Start-Up Program’ will give $7,500 to help open a regulated site.
