A scary incident in Cape Breton during a QMJHL game in Sydney.
The Eagles were playing the Saint John Sea Dogs in junior hockey action on Saturday at Centre 200 when a medical incident led to the game being cancelled.
It involves someone behind the players bench on the Saint John Sea Dogs.
When play was stopped a person was taken away on a stretcher, but it is not known if it was a member of the coaching staff or another team official.
Cape Breton was leading 6-0 early in the third period when play was stopped.
Players and officials were sent to the dressing room and the league ultimately decided to stop the game.
No word on the condition of the person at this time.
