You’ll have to take a detour if you’re using Island Drive to get between McKellar and Mission Islands in Thunder Bay.

The city is closing off a portion of the road Tuesday because of scheduled work on the CP Rail line.

The work will take until 5:00 p.m. and there will be a temporary detour using Baffin Street.

Officials are asking you to drive carefully near the road closure.
