Lots of rain on the way in the southern part of the province.

Rainfall warnings are in effect for areas including Saint John and County, Sussex, Kennebecasis Valley and Kings County, St. Stephen and Northern Charlotte County and Grand Manan and Coastal Charlotte County.

Environment Canada says temperatures will rise and heavy rain will begin Wednesday afternoon.

Up to 40 millimetres is expected to fall by Thursday night with even more to come by Friday morning.

Be prepared for possible flash floods and localized flooding.
