An international drug ring has been interrupted, with help from RCMP.

Nova Scotia’s federal policing section, along with Homeland Security helped arrest a man from Buffalo, New York.

Over 400 kilograms of cocaine destined for Canada was seized, the investigation took 16 months.

American officials say this led to the largest cocaine bust in western New York’s history.

Police say it was a sophisticated drug ring, and moved imported cocaine through Ontario and Atlantic Canada.

4 people were recently arrested in Nova Scotia on drug charges after several search warrants throughout Halifax.
