A Dartmouth man has been charged following a sexual assault investigation involving a youth victim known to him.

RCMP Halifax Regional Detachment says officers executed a search warrant at a home near the 9500 block of Highway 7 in Head of Jeddore. The warrant was carried out with help from the RCMP/HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division and the RCMP Emergency Response Team.

During the search, police arrested a 30-year-old man in connection with the investigation. Two other men at the property were arrested on unrelated matters. Officers also recovered a stolen motorcycle at the scene.

The man is facing multiple charges, including:

• Sexual Assault

• Sexual Interference

• Invitation to Sexual Touching

• Uttering Threats

• Intimidation of a Justice System Participant

• Two counts of Failing to Comply with a Release Order

He remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court.

Police say no further information will be released to protect the identity of the victim.
