A firearm-related incident in the Oak Bay region outside St. Stephen has RCMP searching for a vehicle.

RCMP reported on social media at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday that they were searching for a white Chevrolet Cruze with damage on the driver’s side.

No further details were made available, but the public was asked to avoid the area.

RCMP did state that the situation did not meet the criteria for an Alert Ready.

Due to a firearm-related incident in the #OakBay area, outside of #StStephen, #RCMPNB is asking the public to avoid the area. Police are currently looking for a white, Chevrolet Cruze similar to the image below, with damage to the driver’s side.
