Today Nashville Kat was telling us about a Country Music Artist that is releasing his new album on… cassette

We then got on the topic of what was your first cassette or one of your favourites…

Barry helped us out with the name of that Garth cassette… “In pieces”

Cecilia-“Hi Trent . I believe that my first cassette was Toronto – Get It On Credit! You probably never heard of them! ”
Tony-“Loved it when the song stopped halfway through and you had to flip the cassette to the other side”
Tessa-“I still have most of my old cassettes LOL some of them you can’t get on CD or digital particularly when you make a good mixed tape sadly some are so worn they can’t even be converted to digital”
Clay-“I had 8- tracks in first couple of vehicles. Had to jam the match book in sometimes to get the right speed. lol Deep Purple ,”
Pam-“Good morning Trent I remember the days when I would pop a blank cassette tape into the player and press record when the radio was playing the all request ha request hour now that’s going way back”
Kathy-“Grease soundtrack”
Frank-“Yup…..I had Alabama. 40 hr week.”
and Deb sent in this photo that she bought 25 years ago… I asked why she never took it out of the wrapper… “I bought 2, I wanted it for a keepsake. Seems silly now ”
