You will have the luxury to shed the mask on public transit starting this weekend.

In accordance with the provincial requirement to mask up expiring on Saturday, the City of Thunder Bay is asking you to treat others with tolerance, respect and kindness whether they choose to continue to wear a mask or not.

The mandate also includes mandatory masking in health-care settings as well as long-term care and retirement homes, in addition to shelters and other congregate care settings.
