Five players from the 2018 World Junior hockey team need to report to police.

The Globe and Mail is reporting the five have been told to surrender in London, Ontario on sexual assault charges.

It’s in relation to the sexual assault of a woman in the summer of 2018 after a fundraising gala.

The report says the players have not formally been charged.

London police re-opened the investigation after a TSN report on the incident in 2022.

The players have not been named.
