Mounties in New Brunswick have sent out an emergency alert after reports came in about a man with a gun in Sussex.

Police say he was last seen in Main Street area.

He is about 19-years-old and is wearing a blue coat and grey jogging pants.

Residents will notice a heavy police presence in the area are being asked to stay inside.
